We hebben een zorgplicht voor onze collega’s. Maar uiteraard ook voor de omwonenden van onze installaties. Daarom houden we ons graag aan alle strikte wet- en regelgeving. Bijvoorbeeld als het gaat om de uitstoot van schadelijke stoffen.
Safety
At Gunvor Energy Rotterdam, we believe that it’s possible to avoid injuries, accidents and industrial diseases. In addition to clear protocols, it is essential to have good incident reporting followed up with analysis for prevention. Safety is a top priority for all our colleagues, both inside and outside the workplace. They collaborate every day on maintaining a working environment free from accidents.
Milieu
We operate within the parameters of what the government allows and does not allow. Always. Nevertheless, there’s no getting around the fact that fossil fuels are harmful for the environment. Our move to green energy is the beginning of the solution.
Society
Our main aim is to work in harmony with local communities, clients and suppliers. We want them to gain economic benefits from our success. We reduce the harmful impact on society by taking sustainability measures and making our operations even more efficient.
As an organisation, we also want to play an active and positive role in our local surroundings. That’s why we collaborate with local schools and sponsor local events, organise open days and give presentations to inform local residents of our plans.
